Carlton & Stanley Opticians

A Family Business

Having worked in both the multiple and independent sectors of the market, the team at Carlton and Stanley, led by Musab & Naeemunisha Patel, have curated ideas from both sides of the optical world and integrated the best of both into their own practice. The attention to detail and personal service of an independent practice along with the efficiency and stream lined approach of a multiple.

With three young children at home, the Patels balance work and family life, serving the Shevington community with the same values used to build Carlton and Stanley Opticians brand for many years.

The Practice was passed on to Musab and Naeemunisha by Gordon Carlton and David Stanley, who for many years themselves have acted as firm pillars to the community in Shevington. Gordon, himself being born and raised in Shevington has deep roots within the community. He, therefore is still present at the Practice and tests two days a week.

The faces may have changed but the ethos is undeniably the same. A family-run Opticians with the desire to provide exceptional eyecare and eyewear whilst giving that attention to detail and bespoke service to each individual.

We also manage two other opticians in Bolton, Seddons Opticians in Atherton & Harwood Eyecare.

Musab

Musab graduated from University of Bradford in 2007 and carried out his pre-registration training in Bolton, becoming a fully qualified optometrist in the Autumn of 2008. Since 2008, Musab has practiced as an optometrist in a Hospital and also in high street multiples but over the past few years he has practiced in many Independent practices.

The love and passion for practicing in the independent sector has since been cemented when he was given the opportunity to take over Seddons Opticians in Atherton and then Harwood Eyecare and most recently Carlton and Stanley Opticians.

When not kept busy by his two little daughters, Musab likes to go to the gym and long walks with the family. He is also a rare breed of fans who support his team Bolton Wanderers.

Naeemunisha

Naeemunisha also graduated from University of Bradford in 2007 and carried out her pre-registration training in Rochdale, becoming a fully qualified optometrist in the Summer of 2008. Since 2008, Naeemunisha has mainly practiced as an optometrist in the Independent Practice sector and has worked in towns such as Clitheroe and Bolton.

In her spare time (which she does not have much) Naeemunisha loves to bake and likes to catch up on Eastenders, but her guilty pleasure are Bollywood movies.
